Ceilidh

Come join us for the Ceilidh Saturday, Sept. 8th at 5:30pm in the Festival Entertainment Building.

Ceilidh Picture What is a Ceilidh (pronounced "Kay Lee")? In years gone by when people in the Highlands of Scotland wanted entertainment they would have their neighbors over. Someone might play a musical instrument, a fiddle or an accordion, a mouth organ or penny whistle for example. Someone else might sing and have the others join in. There could also be dancing.

Our evening starts with a buffet followed by entertainment. Details for the 2012 Ceilidh will be added when they are available. Until then here is the menu and entertainment for the 2011 Ceilidh.
